1983: The first article about my space activism was published in 1983. When my town obtained cable equipment, It was obvious to me they would need programming.

1994: I was active in the community, especially in the arts. The first proposal I ever wrote was successful with the assistance of activist Richard Reyes better known as Pancho Claus.

2011: I was interviewed by a CNN reporter when my photographs of the STS-1 launch were the earliest they received for an end of the Space Shuttle era article.

2013: When the Star Trek Galileo shuttle prop was donated to Space Center Houston, I was there with the model I made as a teenager. By luck the actor, Don Marshall, from the “Galileo Seven” episode autographed it. I was surprised when I caught the attention of photographers!

2014: I was contacted by Dr. Zuleka Zavallos of Australia for an interview. I hope to locate the video for access in the near future.

2014: Astronauts Ellen Ochoa and Jose Hernandez captured the imaginations of many Latinos who dreamed of going to space. Latinos also contributed to space exploration…like engineer Candy Torres.

2021: My funny social media posts about missing a chance to fly by about $2 million caught the eye of a Canadian national TV news station trying to connect for an interview. I was interviewed online and, that evening, I was in a segment about Jeff Bezos’ impending launch on his New Shepard spacecraft!
